About Me

My name is Fiona Dickson, and for many years, while attending funerals for family members and close friends, the importance of personalisation and storytelling had a profound impact which led me to pursue a career telling the story of people’s lives.

 

Taking that leap of faith and leaving my full-time job has allowed me to have a fulfilling career in providing personal ceremonies. My role - as you would expect - has its highs and lows, from being involved in wonderful wedding ceremonies with couples making a lifelong commitment to each other, to delivering a loved one’s life story at their funeral, I take great pride in every service that I deliver.

 

As a registered Marriage Officer with TLC Faith, I can conduct a ceremony which is fully legally binding and which can take place anywhere in Scotland, whether in a castle, a hotel, a beach, gardens or elsewhere. There is no need to do it all again at a Registry Office. I will work with you to ensure your day is everything you want it to be – romantic, funny, and focussed on you.

 

I was born and brought up in the West of Scotland. Throughout my life I have travelled to many parts of the world, however Glasgow is home for me.

 

When not creating your personalised ceremonies, I enjoy walking my Tibetan Terrier, catching up with friends and do enjoy a good concert or a night at the theatre.
